Surveys and Studies

 

          The Survey Design Division of the Department designs and conduct surveys on various subjects with topical importance suggested by the State Departments and other agencies for providing data support to plan formulation and decision making.  This unit also takes up Surveys suggested by Central Statistical Organisation, Labour Bureau and other Central / State Government Department. The surveys taken up through the division is aimed to bridge the data gap particularly in social sector statistics and updating or generating rates and ratios for GSDP /GDP estimates.
